Born in 1972, I grew up in rural Ontario surrounded by horses and hay, and I'm inconveniently allergic to both. This didn't keep me from constructing elaborate hay forts and a bit of horse riding, but it meant that when the air was particularly heavy with pollen I'd more likely be holed up in my room drawing, building elaborate things with lego, and making primitive computer graphics on my Commodore 64.

I moved to the nearby city of Toronto to attend the Ontario College of Art & Design in 1993, where I studied illustration. I stayed and currently work in visual effects and illustration.

Coming soon: A book!

I'm putting the finishing touches on a book of my drawings. It will be a large (12"x12") hardcover and include about 20 of my pencil and ink drawings. I plan to make it available in early 2012. If you're interested drop me a line or subscribe to my blog.
